Our Process — How We Design & Build Commercial Spaces in Bangalore
Every Nextura project follows a structured four-step process that eliminates guesswork, prevents budget surprises, and delivers spaces on time. Here is exactly how we work, from first meeting to final handover.
Step 1: Discovery & Brief
We visit your site with a Leica laser measure and document every column, beam, duct, electrical panel, and service point. For existing spaces, we map the current layout including furniture, equipment, and storage. You receive a scaled CAD floor plan within 3 working days, along with a preliminary feasibility assessment and rough budget range. This step is free for projects above 5,000 sq.ft.
Step 2: Design & Planning
Our designers work in Revit with Enscape rendering, so you can walk through your space in photorealistic 3D before we start construction. We present 2-3 concept options for layout, material palette, and lighting design. Two rounds of revisions are included in our standard scope. You receive a detailed specification document listing every material by brand, grade, finish, and unit cost — this becomes part of the contract. Our interior design team coordinates closely with engineering to ensure every detail is buildable.
Step 3: Build & Execute
Construction is managed through a detailed MS Project schedule shared with you on Day 1. Your dedicated project engineer sends daily photo updates via WhatsApp and raises any issues within 24 hours. We run weekly site meetings (in-person or video call). Change orders are priced within 48 hours with a line-item breakdown. Our procurement team tracks material delivery against the schedule and flags delays before they affect the critical path. Our integrated service model means design and construction teams work from the same office — when a site condition requires a design adjustment, the response time is hours, not weeks.
Step 4: Handover & Support
Before handover, we do a joint punch-list walk-through where you flag any item that doesn't meet specification. We fix punch-list items within 5 working days. You receive as-built drawings, electrical schematic diagrams, HVAC duct layouts, warranty certificates for all major equipment, and a maintenance guide. Our 12-month defect liability period covers material defects and workmanship issues. Warranty response time is 24 hours within Bangalore city limits. Many of our clients continue to engage us for ongoing facility management, fit-out modifications, and expansion projects as their businesses grow. You can see the results of this process in our completed projects.
